{"id":403,"date":"2013-04-18T15:26:38","date_gmt":"2013-04-18T19:26:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/dnml.org\/blog\/wordpress\/?p=403"},"modified":"2013-04-18T15:26:38","modified_gmt":"2013-04-18T19:26:38","slug":"mfa-show","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dnml.org\/blog\/wordpress\/mfa-show\/","title":{"rendered":"MFA SHOW."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I have uploaded some new images from my MFA show that opened last week (April 12th). \u00a0The exhibition will be up until May 17th.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s the info.<\/p>\n<div>The MFA Show is the\u00a0culminating presentation of MFA Candidates and an opportunity for new and ambitious work to be presented to the\u00a0public.\u00a0For over four months a team of three distinguished\u00a0Guest Curators and<\/div>\n<div>12 Graduate Curatorial\u00a0Fellows have spent hours in SAIC\u2019s\u00a0MFA graduate studios: engaging artists, viewing current work, and\u00a0envisioning\u00a0the culminating exhibition.\u00a0This invested approach allows for dialogue, process,\u00a0and\u00a0collaborative decision-making to guide the curatorial teams as they work\u00a0together with 108\u00a0participating artists to bring the\u00a0MFA Show\u00a0to fruition over time.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div>This\u00a0year\u2019s Guest Curators are\u00a0Lisa Dorin,\u00a0Deputy Director for Curatorial Affairs at the Williams College\u00a0Museum of Art;\u00a0Duncan MacKenzie\u00a0(SAIC MFA 2002),\u00a0artist, founding member, and producer of\u00a0Bad\u00a0at Sports; and\u00a0Encarnaci\u00f3n M.
